In Kramatorsk, in the Donetsk region, local dogs lined up to have breakfast at the volunteers.

On the eve World Central Kitchen (WCK), a non-profit non-governmental organization, has set up feeders for war-affected animals in the city, WCK CEO Nate Mook said on Twitter.

"I have never seen anything like it. Yesterday we installed a pet feeding station in Kramatorsk (with your support!). This morning, Ukrainian dogs stood in line to eat," he wrote.

As noted WCK on its website, the organization provides food in response to humanitarian, climate and community crises. They create sustainable food systems through local solutions.

"We don't just deliver raw materials and expect people to take care of themselves. And we're not just throwing free food into a disaster zone: we're finding and hiring locals wherever we can to start economic recovery with food," the WCK website says.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that in Kyiv 10 "Yapomogaboxes" which transforms plastic bottles to help homeless animals, special children and the elderly, as well as the Ukrainian military were opened.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, in Rivne the zoo will receive 500,000 hryvnias from the city budget for the purchase of food, in particular, animals for displaced persons.
