In Kyiv, she reported the suspicion of acting the Director of Capital Construction, Reconstruction and Investments KP "Holosiivo-Budinvest" for the organization of illegal loam extraction on the territory of the landscape reserve of local importance "Urochyshche Tserkovshchyna".

Criminals mined more than 2,000 m3 of subsoil, which caused damage to the environment in the amount of 2.2 million hryvnias, the State Environmental Inspection of the Capital District reports on Facebook.

It is noted that the violations were discovered in October 2022 thanks to reports from the public. The intruders damaged more than 10 hectares of the reserve's land, in some places the depth of the pit reached 5 meters.

The message said that "Tserkovshchyna Tract" in the Holosiiv district of Kyiv was declared a landscape reserve of local importance in 2020. The total area of ​​the facility reaches 130 hectares.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that Kyiv dug a pit with an area of ​​1,000 m2 in the landscape reserve "Urochyshche Tserkovshchyna" in the Holosiiv district, which caused damage in the amount of 155.5 thousand hryvnias. The day before, representatives of the police and the Kyiv Ecological and Cultural Center found workers and trucks. A criminal case was initiated against the perpetrators.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, in Kiev, on Shukhevycha Avenue in the Dnipro district, attackers drilled holes in more than 100 trees and poured an unidentified liquid into them, which poisoned the plants.
