The effects of the storm began to be eliminated immediately after the storm stopped

In Kyiv on June 29, during a thunderstorm, a gust of wind felled about 100 trees and damaged almost 200.

Sviatoshynskyi district suffered the most, Kyivzelenbud reports on Facebook.

The wind speed reached 15-20 meters per second.

Branches, trunks and other fragments of trees fell on highways and footpaths, as well as in park areas and yards.

The Sviatoshynskyi district became the most affected by the weather, where communal services found 114 damaged and 30 more windy trees in their balance territories alone.

The effects of the storm began to be eliminated immediately after the storm stopped. Work is currently underway.

The emergency dispatch service of Kyivzelenbud received 40 calls from Kyiv residents.

We will remind, in Kyiv on Tuesday, June 21, a storm that passed through the city, felled 20 trees and damaged another 80.  Shevchenkivskyi, Solomyanskyi and Sviatoshynskyi districts suffered the most.
