From now on, owners of 4-room apartments pay 3 times less than for similar apartments in neighboring buildings

The Zhytomyr condominium "Vulyk-21" completed a large-scale modernization of its building, which allowed to reduce heat energy consumption by almost 50%.

The Energy Efficiency Fund told about this motivating case.

The comprehensive thermal modernization of the 27-year-old 6-door building was able to be implemented thanks to participation in the "Energodim" program. The project included 234 apartments. It included the following works:

  • thermal insulation of pipelines of the internal heat supply system in unheated rooms;
  • hydraulic balancing of the heating system;
  • insulation of the facade;
  • replacement of external doors and arrangement of vestibules of the external entrance;
  • replacement of windows and balcony doors in common areas;
  • replacement of windows and balcony doors in apartments.

The main indicators of the "Vulik-21" condominium project:

  • the total cost is UAH 24.6 million, of which UAH 17.2 million is a grant;
  • own contribution of the co-owners of the building – UAH 7.4 million;
  • the cost of work for one apartment (area – 70 m²) is UAH 36,000, or UAH 498/m² (including interest on the loan) of the heated area.

Savings after completed works:

  • energy saving ≈ 50%;
  • annual cost savings for the heating needs of the entire house (according to the difference in energy certificates) – UAH 1,222.6 thousand.
  • the average annual cost savings for the heating needs of one apartment (area – 60 m²) is UAH 3.9 thousand, or UAH 65/m².

Now the residents of the building will pay less for heating, but at the same time the temperature regime in the apartments will be comfortable.

"We are very satisfied with the results of the work! The house has become much warmer and cozier. Thanks to the "Energodim" program, we were able to repair our panel house. We not only saved money on heating, but also improved living conditions. Co-owners are surprised, because 4-room apartments now pay 3 times less than similar ones in neighboring houses. In addition, the corner apartments were able to get rid of the black mold on the walls," shares Lyudmila Panchenko, head of the Vulyk-21 condominium.

As EcoPolitic reported earlier, at the end of September, condominium "Blue House-43" in Lutsk carried out thermal modernization of his forty-year-old house under the state program "Energodim" and received savings of energy resources of about 50% and significantly lower payments for heating.
