The maximum amount of compensation reaches 1 million hryvnias

The executive committee of the Vinnytsia City Council extended partial compensation for the costs of purchasing autonomous green power sources to small and medium-sized businesses.

Earlier, only representatives of micro-businesses could count on compensation, reports Vinnytsia City Council.

It is noted that only those entrepreneurs who work in the territory of the community can receive compensation. Money for the installation of power generation capacities from the sun, wind, and water will be allocated from the city budget.

"Against the background of possible blackouts, many entrepreneurs have already installed autonomous power sources in order to save and rationally consume energy resources. In this way, they will have the opportunity to continue their work and save jobs for the population," said Iryna Chernata, deputy director of the Department of Economy and Investments of the Vinnytsia City Council.

She explained that the maximum amount of compensation reaches 1 million hryvnias. Its size can be 30% of the taxes paid to the city budget for the previous year, but no more than the actual costs of purchasing the power plant.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that in Vinnytsia, the Aurora company has completed the first stage of construction of an 850 kW rooftop solar power plant on the basis of its distribution center.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, a berry and fruit processing enterprise in Vinnytsia launched the first rooftop solar power plant with a capacity of 250 kW. In the city, more than 30 enterprises have already installed SPPs for their own consumption.
