One of the seven horses evacuated by animal rights activists from the front-line town of Vugledar in Donetsk region died of stress and exhaustion barely reaching Kyiv.

Two more horses are in critical condition, according to the UAnimals charity on Facebook.

The authors said that the horses were evacuated to the "Wild Animal Rescue Center" in Ivano-Frankivsk. However, due to their critical condition, immediate assistance to the animals began to be provided already in Kyiv.

Zookeepers said that these Ughledar horses are a breed of horses of the Novoaleksandrivsky wagovozo breed. They lived there in a tribal breeder under fire under severe stress and exhaustion. Currently, Vugledar, in which 14 thousand people lived, has turned into ruins.

"These horses became victims of Russian terrorism, – the message emphasized. – We want the world to see how Russia destroys all living things in Ukraine!"

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that on Arabatskaya Streltka (Genichesky district, Kherson region), the Russian occupiers made a military training ground where, as part of "training" red-listed birds are shot.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, shortly after the liberation of Liman in Donetsk region, animal rights activists rescued a contused bear from a private zoo.
