Ukrainians were advised to get used to the temperature in the apartment at 18 degrees and not to warm the air up to 22-24 degrees with heaters

Specialists of the DiXi Group analytical center have prepared advice for Ukrainians in case of force majeure power outages, water, gas and heat supply.

They advised each family to prepare everything necessary now, because for now, cities or villages where there will be no blackouts are guaranteed, reports Dixi Group.

The material noted that the Russian occupiers from impotence will continue to try to destroy the Ukrainian infrastructure.

What can be done now:

  • keep phones, power banks, batteries charged;
  • make a supply of candles, matches and dry alcohol;
  • purchase a tourist gas stove or a cylinder with a burner;
  • purchase a few flashlights and a battery-powered radio;
  • contain a weekly supply of drinking and technical water, canned food, freeze-dried food;
  • update the first-aid kit and make a supply of personal medicine for at least a week;
  • prepare warm clothes, thermal underwear, rescue thermal blankets for warming;
  • tape all the cracks on the windows and balcony doors with tape.

Analysts also advised to get used to the temperature in the apartment at 18 degrees and not to warm the air up to 22-24 degrees with electric heaters. And to warm up quickly, you can use bottles of warm water.

What to do in the event of a power outage:

  • turn off all electrical devices;
  • if the house has an elevator, make sure that no one is stuck in it;
  • do not use gas stoves for heating, because you can get poisoned with carbon monoxide;
  • visit neighbors who need help (for example, the elderly);
  • stay away from broken wires.

The material noted the need to comply with safety regulations when using dry alcohol and tourist heating devices.

What to do when the water is turned off:

  • turn off all taps;
  • boil water collected from pump rooms or wells for at least 10 minutes or use drinking water from stores;
  • use the technical water supply.

What to do when the gas is turned off:

  • turn off the gas valve in the apartment and help the neighbors do it;
  • use barbecues, stoves, etc. only on the street;
  • do not heat the apartment with wood.

“If you smell gas in the room, you should immediately turn off the gas valve and call the emergency service at number 104. In this case, you must not light a fire (lighters, matches, etc.), turn on electrical appliances. It is better to de-energize all housing altogether. After that, it is necessary to ventilate not only the gassed room, but also all housing," the authors emphasized.

They also stressed that it is necessary to immediately leave the premises and not return until the gas service workers confirm the elimination of the accident.

What to do when the heating is turned off:

  • close the windows with blankets;
  • put on warm clothes;
  • keep warm with heating pads or plastic bottles of hot water;
  • It is better for all tenants to be in the same room.
