In the city of Yuzhne in Odesa Oblast, the Myrnyi 26 condominium association saved almost 40% on heating costs, which, according to preliminary calculations, amounts to about UAH 863 thousand per year.

This is reported by Energy Efficiency Fund.

"We started the energy modernization of the house back in 19. At that time, we had the highest tariff in the city. We searched for a long time for ways to save money and came across the wonderful "Energodim" program. Then there was a lot of preparatory work, because at that time there were no changes to the Program were adopted, which greatly simplified the participation of all condominiums of Ukraine – comments Nataliya Artyushkina, head of condominium "Myrnyi 26".

It is reported that the project was implemented section by section, because the building consists of three sections and has more than 13.5 thousand square meters. meters of heating area.

"The biggest challenge for us was a full-scale war, people started leaving. Then our house was hit and the question arose whether to continue further work. And then, surprisingly, all the co-owners rallied and unanimously decided to finish the comprehensive thermal modernization of the house to the detriment of all enemies. Currently, we we live in a modern and economical house, because the payment has almost halved," Artyushkina notes.

According to the information, the savings are:

  • Reduction of energy consumption calculated by the energy auditor – 38.9%;
  • Annual saving of heating costs for the whole house is about 862.9 thousand hryvnias;
  • Annual reduction of CO2 emissions – 199.8 tons.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, condominiums of the Kolomyia city territorial community have the opportunity to receive reimbursement of part of the costs associated with the implementation of energy saving measures. This opportunity is envisaged in the Program "Energodom Kolomyia for 2024-2026", which was approved by the city council to stimulate the implementation of energy saving measures in the housing stock.
