Wild nature and unique ecosystems are well preserved on the territory of the landscape park

In the Mykolayiv region, a large-scale fire occurred in the regional landscape park "Tyligulsky" due to careless handling of fire, which destroyed 2 hectares of protected land.

Damages from the fire reached 4.4 million hryvnias, the State Environmental Inspection of the South-Western District reports on Facebook.

It is noted that the eco-inspectors filed a criminal complaint with the police.

The Tyligul landscape park protects the valuable nature of the coast and the adjacent waters of the Tyligul estuary, as well as historical and cultural objects. Tyligul estuary is included in the list of wetlands of major international importance as a habitat for waterfowl.

A significant number of unique animals, fish and plants live on the territory of the estuary. After all, on the territory well-preserved natural vegetation, namely aquatic communities, grassy marshes, salt meadows, salt marshes and salt marshes, real and stony steppes, tree-shrub thickets.

As EcoPolitic earlier, in the Mykolayiv region in the regional landscape park "Tiligulskyi" Chilova Kosa was built by MAFs and turned into a popular recreation spot. In the summer, hundreds of people in hundreds of cars came to the nesting places of red-listed birds, habitats of animals and plants. They park in the middle of the protected steppe to relax on the beach and ride quad bikes. Only at the beginning of October, eco-inspectors conducted an inspection on the spit where they found pollution and clogging of protected lands.
