This will help people in case of long-term blackouts

In the Kherson region, rescuers received solar panels to ensure the operation of unbreakable points in the event of a lack of electricity.

In particular, this will allow local residents to charge their gadgets in order to stay connected, reports the Main Office of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kherson region on Facebook.

"Help for rescuers is help for people," the press service emphasized

It is noted that the solar panels were donated by the French humanitarian organization ACTED.

The press service added that this will help people in case of long-term blackouts.

This is not the first similar project in Ukraine. Thus, in Kharkiv region in the Chuguyiv community five points of invincibility are equipped with autonomous solar power plants. The project worth 100,000 euros is implemented thanks to a grant from the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ).

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that in March in the de-occupied Kherson Oblast, specialists of the company "DTEK VDE" restored the operation of the Trifonivska solar power plant by 50%. The SPP, which has been in occupation for seven months, was able to generate 5 MW of its installed capacity of 10 MW.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, a 28 kW rooftop solar power plant was installed in the Voznesensk multidisciplinary hospital in Mykolaiv Oblast. The SES will provide reliable and uninterrupted power supply, in particular in emergency situations and emergency power outages.
