From November 21 to December 21, the campaign "Month of Help for Animals" will take place in Kyiv, during which animal rights activists will collect necessary items for rescued four-legged friends from the Kyiv region.

The authors of the initiative plan, in addition to the collection, to unite the most powerful drivers of animal protection and create a large community for joint assistance, reports the ecohub "Kyiv City House of Nature" on Facebook.

The message stated that on November 25, at 5:00 p.m., a meeting on helping animals will be held in the exhibition hall of Ecohub (3 Rognidynska St.). It will be attended by representatives of the charity fund "Kyivski chaudyki" and Norwegian animal advocates from NOR DOG Animal Rescue, who are making the first major contribution to the collection.

At the event, you will be able to bring things for animals, take what you need for your shelter, find partners and take part in the discussion.

The authors said that the founder of NorDog, Frederik, came from Norway to Ukraine at the beginning of the war to save four-legged dogs. With a small team, he evacuates dogs from hot spots, feeds them and delivers the necessary supplies. Now they are building shelters in the regions of Ukraine, have started their own fodder production and are constantly finding families for their wards.

What can be brought to the ecohub:

  • feed;
  • couches;
  • leashes;
  • collars;
  • trays;
  • fillers for trays;
  • scratchers;
  • toys;
  • carriers;
  • medicine;
  • vitamins;
  • disposable diapers.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that Kyiv public organization Yapomoga transferred 800 kg of fodder for the military, which are the first to enter the occupied territories, so they immediately feed the exhausted animals.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, animal rights activists and the chain of stores "Auchan Ukraine" were able to collect 870 kg of food for the homeless cats and dogs in 2.5 weeks.
