In the published figures, Ekopolitika found some discrepancy

In 2024, business entities in the Dubno district of Rivne region paid UAH 595.8 thousand in environmental tax.

This data was published by the Dubno District State Administration on Facebook.

According to them, these revenues can be divided into two groups:

  • UAH 301.8 thousand are monetary penalties for damage caused by violations of environmental protection legislation as a result of economic and other activities;
  • UAH 320.9 thousand – funds from losses of agricultural and forestry production.

We would like to note that the total figure does not coincide with the one published at the beginning, as 301.8 + 320.9 = 622.7 thousand UAH. The difference is UAH 26.9 thousand.

According to the RSA, the following united territorial communities received the most environmental tax:

  • Dubensk OTG – 273.8 thousand UAH;
  • Mlynivsk OTG – 114.9 thousand UAH;
  • Radyvyliv OTG – 55.2 thousand UAH;
  • Semidubsk OTG – 40.8 thousand UAH;
  • Smyzka OTG – 42.5 thousand UAH;
  • Krupetsk OTG – 18.5 thousand UAH;
  • Varkovytsk OTG – 12.1 thousand UAH

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that in 2024 in 5 months Rivne region businesses paid more than 57 million hryvnias of eco-tax.
