Even purebred dogs from other places are not taken from the shelter

Zoo volunteer Anastasia Tykha, whose photo during the evacuation from destroyed Irpen went viral all over the world, said that some people decided to help only rescued dogs and cats from Kherson.

Network users were already ready to take specific animals from her shelter, but they refused because they were not from the Kherson region, Tykha said on the Instagram page of the "House of Tails" shelter.

So one of the network users was ready to take the dog, but when he found out that it was evacuated from Chasovoy Yar, which is near Bakhmut, he changed his mind.

"It's not interesting. Thank you," he wrote.

Another user also liked the shepherd dog from the shelter. However, it turned out that the person was looking for an animal from Kherson.

Tykha also shared a correspondence with a network user who was ready to pay for the cat's treatment. However, he also refused it for the same reasons.

"You want to take an animal, you send me a photo of the chosen animal from our page, and then you find out that it is not from Kherson and refuse. What are you?" Tykha was indignant in the shelter's Insta Story.

She said that only two dogs from Kherson remained in the shelter without owners – one old, one big. However, purebred dogs from other places, in particular from Kyiv and frontline villages, are not taken.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that in Odesa on the coast of the village of Hryhorivka nailed the dog which for several days was carried by the "big water" on a board from the Kherson region.

As EcoPolitic reported earlier, zoo volunteer Anastasia Tykha asked the Ukrainians animal shelter assistance.
