The Committee on Environmental Policy and Nature Management of the Government of Ukraine will consider a bill on the use of water resources during martial law on Wednesday, June 22.

The full agenda is published at site Ecological Committee of the Government of Ukraine.

It is noted that one of the first issues is the consideration of the draft law on amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine and other legislative acts of Ukraine on the use of water resources during martial law in Ukraine.

This bill is in parliament registered June 7, number 7440. He was nominated to the Rada by People's Deputies of Ukraine I. Allahverdiyev, D. Arahamiya, D. Getmantsev and other people's deputies.

According to the explanatory note, the purpose of the bill is to solve the problem of urgent restoration of centralized water supply using water from new and restored existing artesian wells by establishing the possibility of using water resources without permits to meet the needs of the population in centralized water supply during martial law.

The main committee on it is the Government Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy. Instead, the eco-committee should submit its proposals to the document.

In addition, the people's deputies of the Ecological Committee will present an updated environmental strategy of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine.

On the eve EcoPolitics reported that the Government of Ukraine approved in the second reading and in general the long-awaited bill № 2207-1-d “On waste management”.
