Preparatory work will continue until May 2024

The company "DTEK VDE" has started preparations for the construction of a powerful wind farm in the Poltava region on the territory of the Globinsk community.

This will provide the energy-deficient region with electricity and increase Ukraine's energy security, reports DTEK VDE on Facebook.

It is noted that the company signed a tripartite agreement with the executive committee of the Globin City Council and a specialized certified organization for the execution of a complex of spatial planning works.

As part of the contract, until May 2024, DTEK will conduct:

  • a complex of engineering and geodetic surveys;
  • work on the development of a detailed plan of territories, in particular, the preparation of an environmental assessment report;
  • a complex of land management, land cadastral and land assessment works.

"We are already thinking about the future today. We are purposefully and consciously going to this region, because it is energy-deficient and a powerful power plant is very necessary here. Electricity from the Poltava wind power plant will give impetus to the more rapid development of industries in Poltava and neighboring regions," said the deputy director "DTEK VDE" Oleg Solovei.

The message added that the company will also conduct ornithological research, which is a mandatory part of the complex of preparatory pre-project works for the construction of the wind park.

As EcoPolitic reported earlier, in May 2023 in the Mykolayiv region the first stage of the Tyligul wind power plant with a capacity of 114 MW with 19 wind turbines was launched.
