The press service explained that the company is currently waiting for the permission of the military and law enforcement authorities to return to the solar power plant, to conduct a final assessment of its condition and damages.

"The company plans to promptly repair the SPP and, at the first opportunity, start producing electricity for the power system, which is important for Ukraine in the conditions of the energy crisis and winter," Timchenko said.

The message emphasized that Trifonivska SPP is the first facility of DTEK RES, over which the company regains control after the temporary occupation of the territories of the Kherson region by Russia.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that in the Kherson region in the Bilozer district Russian troops mined the solar power plant during the retreat of the Rengy company, which before the full-scale war was an important element of the community's energy security.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, DTEK is considering the possibility resumption of construction of one of its RES facilities.
