Czech partners are ready to invest more than €12 million in biomass boilers with a total capacity of more than 80 MW for uninterrupted heat supply in Ukrainian hospitals and other institutions.
This was reported by the head of the State Agency for Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving, Hanna Zamazeyeva, on Facebook following the meeting between representatives of the Czech fund "RSJ Investments" and Ukrainian partners.
She said that at the meeting they discussed how to multiply such projects and stimulate investments to help communities pass the heating season.
"We considered the legislative field and the initiatives that the Agency team is working on to stimulate the attraction of investments in this area. We are working on removing barriers that arise for producers of heat from alternative types of fuel," Zamazeyeva said.
She added that at the meeting, all obstacles faced by market participants were discussed in detail, and various ways of overcoming them were discussed.
"We have a lot of common thoughts and positions! We agreed to cooperate on the development of heat production from alternative types of fuel, as well as the cultivation of energy plants," Zamazeyeva emphasized.
We remind you that the American renewable energy sales and marketing company Uprisun Technology has expressed its readiness to share its developments with Ukraine and help accelerate the green reconstruction of communities.
