Employees of the plant management were offered to work remotely

ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih suspended a number of metallurgical production processes, in particular steel smelting and rolled steel production, as well as the operation of virtually all water-cooled equipment.

Thus, the company will reduce water consumption in critical conditions due to the undermining of the Kakhovska HPP until the situation normalizes, the ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih press service reports on Facebook.

It is noted that only blast furnace and coke-chemical production, as well as Minings, will work at the enterprise.

The report emphasized that after analyzing the depth of the drop in the water level in the Kakhovsky Reservoir and other consequences of the enemy terrorist attack, that is, about 3-4 days, the company will be able to establish the terms of return to normal operation.

It is noted that employees of the plant management were also offered to work remotely.

The press service emphasized that all orders will be fulfilled on time in full, and the company's chain works stably

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that on the night of June 6, the Russian occupiers blew up the dam at the Kakhovska HPP. However, despite the drop in the water level, there are currently no problems with water supply for the population in such large cities as Zaporozhye and Kryvyi Rih.

Previously, EcoPolitic analyzed why the destruction of the Kakhovskaya HPP is already being called the greatest possible man-made disaster of the 21st century.
