Actor and ex-governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger held a charity auction to finance the climate campaign and help Ukraine.

He raised €270,000 by auctioning works of art, including paintings by actor Sylvester Stallone, soccer jerseys signed by Real Madrid's Antonio Rudiger, and more, La Prensa Latina reported.

The article emphasized that Schwarzenegger invited about 170 guests to the auction, including numerous celebrities and other famous people, especially from Austria and Germany.

"Your generous contributions will support our efforts to stop pollution and protect the environment," Schwarzenegger said.

The auction featured 21 items, including a drum signed by musician Phil Collins, skis autographed by Vonn and a replica of the leather jacket Schwarzenegger wore in his Terminator 2 movie.

The authors emphasized that a platinum ring signed by Schwarzenegger with a diamond, which was made using compressed carbon dioxide extracted from the atmosphere, was also put up for auction. Its price reached €10,000.

The article added that the auction also included a copy of the boxing belt of the world champion with the signature of Volodymyr Klitschko, the brother of the mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko, as well as boxing gloves with the autographs of two former sportsmen. The funds collected from their sale will go to humanitarian projects in Ukraine.
