A condominium received a loan under the "5-7-9%" program for the installation of SPP for the first time in Ukraine

State Sense Bank issued a loan under the state program "Affordable Loans 5-7-9%" for the purchase and installation of a 30 kW solar power plant for condominiums in Vinnytsia.

This was reported by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.

The department said that Ukrainian banks have already started issuing loans under the state program "Affordable loans 5-7-9%" for the purchase and installation of equipment for generating electricity from alternative sources, as well as equipment for storing electrical energy for associations of co-owners of apartment buildings (apartment housing) and housing and building cooperatives (ZhBK).

Sense Bank noted that the development of financing of alternative energy sources is one of the priorities for their financial institution.

Yuliya Svyridenko, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Ukraine, reported that in 2 months, banking institutions received more than 7,300 applications from businesses and citizens for crediting projects for the restoration of energy infrastructure and approved applications in the amount of almost UAH 4 billion.

The Ministry of Economy reminded that under the terms of the program "Affordable loans 5-7-9%" for condominiums and condominiums, the loan amount can be up to UAH 5 million for a term of up to 5 years at 7% per annum. The program will work in combination with the "GreenDIM" program. Condominiums and condominiums within the framework of this program will be able to receive up to 70% of the cost of the project after its arrangement.

If your association of co-owners of an apartment building wants to take advantage of the state preferential lending program "Affordable loans 5-7-9%", the management of the condominium or housing complex must submit an application to one of the banks cooperating with the Entrepreneurship Development Fund and provide a package of necessary documents, established by the bank.

The Ministry of Economy also listed the tools available to businesses and citizens:

  1. Extended program "Available loans 5-7-9%" for businesses for the purchase and installation of gas power generation plants. The amount of the preferential loan is up to 150 million hryvnias, the term of crediting is up to 10 years. The "5-7-9% Available Loans" program also provides an opportunity for entrepreneurs to use loan funds to purchase solar and wind power plants, as well as equipment for storing electrical energy.
  2. Preferential lending for energy infrastructure restoration projects, which is provided by 19 of the largest banks of Ukraine. The amount of loans can be up to 25 million euros. The term of the loan is up to 5-7 years.
  3. Preferential lending at 0% for households for the installation of solar panels with energy storage systems and wind turbines. The loan amount is up to UAH 480,000. The loan term is 10 years.

On June 10 the government approved The procedure for providing financial state support to individuals who install generating units from alternative energy sources in their own households. For citizens, government officials provided a 0% lending program, and for small and medium-sized businesses – preferential loans under the "5-7-9%" program. To finance this program The Cabinet allocated UAH 759 million from the State Fund for Decarbonization and Energy-Efficient Transformation.
