The expected capacity will be 7 MW of electricity from each turbine

Rivne region is preparing to implement a project to build two wind farms. The investor will be Fenix Repower from Norway.

The Rivne Regional State Administration announced the discussion of the project.

Preliminary specifications indicate a wind farm with 9-12 turbines. Each will generate 7 MW of energy.

"In the context of constant enemy attacks, the installation of wind farms is one of the steps towards energy independence of the region. During the meeting, we agreed with the company's representatives on our maximum assistance in the implementation of this project," said Oleksandr Koval, head of the UWA.
