Pseudo-activist actively engages the public to gain their support

Swedish eco-activist Greta Thunberg, together with other activists, will travel by ship to Gaza to “break the illegal Israeli blockade” of the territory.

Greta Thunberg announced this on her Instagram page.

The eco-activist said she will set out with other concerned individuals for the Middle East on August 31 from Spain. On September 4, dozens of vessels from Tunisia and other ports are expected to join her.

“We are also mobilizing more than 44 countries for simultaneous demonstrations and actions to end complicity in the oppression of the Palestinian people! Join this initiative at this critical moment!” – Thunberg said.

Background

In June, Greta Thunberg and 11 other activists sailed on the sailing vessel Madleen to the Gaza coast to “break the Israeli blockade.” The vessel with the so-called eco-defender began its journey from the Sicilian port of Catania in southern Italy.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz instructed the military not to allow the vessel carrying Greta Thunberg to enter Gaza. Subsequently, the Israeli Navy detained the boat and towed it away, and on June 10, the pseudo-eco-activist was deported to Israel.

As EcoPolitics reported earlier, the eco-activist met with Zelensky and promised to involve representatives of the international eco-community to draw attention to the consequences of the war in Ukraine.
