Here are 5 interesting facts cited by specialists:

  1. One bottle is the start of a big business: about 25 PET bottles are needed to make one fleece jacket. This shows how important each contribution is to recycling.
  2. Plastic bottles are becoming new products: not only new bottles are made from recycled PET plastic, but also packaging materials, clothes, furniture and even car parts.
  3. Energy savings: recycling plastic requires up to 88% less energy than its production from primary raw materials.
  4. Less harmful emissions: recycling one ton of PET plastic reduces CO2 emissions by 1.5 tons, which is a significant contribution to the fight against climate change.
  5. Why should you hand over bottles for recycling? This is not only an ecological step, but also a way to a better future for our children. Each donated bottle means saved resources, a cleaner environment and the possibility of reusing materials.
