Prosecutors have sent to court an indictment against a family of entrepreneurs from Korostyshiv who illegally occupied a forestry land plot of almost 1 hectare located in Korostyshiv community and built a recreation center on it.

This was reported by the Zhytomyr Regional Prosecutor's Office.

In order to increase their profits, the mother, daughter-in-law, and son illegally seized forestry land on the territory of the Korostyshiv forestry in the coastal zone of the lake bordering the previously acquired land and the tourist and recreation complex, hotel, and cafe.

They also built piers, architectural structures, lanterns, footpaths, etc., although they did not have any permits and project documentation for construction on the lake shore. Some structures were located within the coastal protective strip of the reservoir. Prosecutors emphasized that the Land and Water Codes of Ukraine generally prohibit any construction within the coastal protection strip.
