The decision to set aside the land plot turned out to be illegal

The Brovary District Prosecutor's Office has ensured the actual enforcement of a court decision to reclaim the land plot of the Kalytya Village Council on the banks of the Pylyavka River worth over UAH 35 million into communal ownership.

This was reported by the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.

Earlier, the local government decided to allocate the land plot to a citizen for private ownership for personal farming.

In court, the prosecutors proved that this decision was unlawful, as it contradicted the requirements of the current legislation. The land in question belongs to the water fund, as it is located in the 25-meter coastal protection zone of a pond on the small Pyliavka River, a right tributary of the Trubizh River. Therefore, it should be exclusively in communal ownership.

Earlier, EcoPolitic reported that Lutsk Prosecutor's Office returned to the state the lands of the Tsumanska Pushcha National Park worth UAH 485 million.
