In Ukraine, the charity foundation Hochukota and the LUN company have launched a joint social initiative called Invite a Cat to a Housewarming.
Those moving to a new home are offered to adopt a cat, dog, or other animal from a shelter, according to the Wantokota Instagram post.
"According to a sign, before moving into a new apartment, you should invite a cat to visit to live a happy and carefree life," the post says.
The foundation explained that animal rights activists and LUN joined forces to help animals find their families.

As part of the initiative, the behavior of shelter inmates was analyzed and their character, preferences and need for activity were described. Also on the website "LUN" a photo session of animals was posted, for those who want to "cat" animals.
Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that in Transcarpathia started the implementation of an educational campaign in support of animal rights. The project aims to tell the general public about the existence of a law in Ukraine that protects animal rights.
