The projected annual generation of the station reaches 620,970 kWh

A 555 kW solar power plant has been launched in Bila Tserkva, Kyiv Oblast, on the roof of the TRIBO plant that produces brake pads.

SES will partially meet the plant's energy needs, and will also allow the company to save money on electricity, reports UA.NEWS.

"It's not even a matter of some additional income. It's just an alternative source of energy that you get for your own production. It's a matter of survival and the key to success in highly competitive markets," Oleg Savchuk, director of TRIBO BCZ, said.

The material said that the projected annual generation of the station reaches 620,970 kWh. SES consists of 8 inverters with a capacity of 50 kW and 4 inverters with a capacity of 30 kW.

Demyan Krutchenko, co-owner of the Rayton company that built the SPP, emphasized that this project demonstrates the desire of business to use the potential of green energy for economic growth and energy independence.

It is noted that "TRIBO" is the largest manufacturer of brake pads for railway transport, cars and special equipment in Eastern Europe. The enterprise has a full production cycle.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that a 100 kW solar power plant with storage batteries was installed in the Vyshnivska city hospital in the Kyiv Region.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, enterprises in Vinnytsia installed more than 10 MW of solar power plants for their own needs, which provided green energy for about 10% of consumption.
