Yarn can be brought to the UBS station, or sent to activists by mail

The public organization "Ukraine without garbage" joined the the "Zigry" project from Made in Ukraine and started collecting yarn for the manufacture of warm clothes for the military at the front.

The "Zigry" movement united more than 2,340 Ukrainian women and men, who have already produced more than 23,300 knitted items, according to the community's Facebook page.

It is noted that volunteers make hats, balaclavas, socks and buffs for the military.

The message said that there are several ways to join the campaign, namely:

  • bring unnecessary yarn to UBS at the address: str. Saperno-Slobidska, 25/4;
  • send threads to UBS through the services "Dosortovanvaniya", "Plastik Poshtoyu", "UBS Courier" and "UBS Uklon";
  • send the yarn by mail to the address of Kyiv, Nova poshta branch #140 (recipient Oleksiy Smirnov, tel. +380988108593);
  • donate to knitting materials and logistics;
  • craftsmen to join production.

"Remember "Zigry" when sending/bringing textiles to us for incineration. If there is yarn among your belongings, let it help our defenders to warm themselves this winter", urged UBS.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that eco-activists called on Kharkiv residents to donate metal cans and corrugated cardboard for making trench candles.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, in Khmelnytskyi they began to collect used electronic cigarettes (vapes or "disposables") to use their batteries to make initiations for ammunition, which are dropped by FPV drones.
