In Mykolaiv Oblast in A succulent plant, i.e. a kind of cactus, was discovered in the Arbuzyn Canyon, the Russian youth, which is also called pork bread or stone rose.
The photo of the plant was published on his Facebook page by Valery Kotsyruba, a biologist and lecturer at the Kryvyi Rih University.
As you know, the young man is included in the list of rare ones in a number of regions of Ukraine, in particular:
- Dnipropetrovsk;
- Donetsk;
- Ivano-Frankivsk;
- Kirovohradskaya;
- Luhansk;
- Sumy;
- Ternopil;
- Donetsk (regional Red Book).
This plant is occasionally found in the forest-steppe and more often in the northern part of the steppe zones of the country. The young are protected in the national nature park "Buzkyi Gard", a part of which is the Arbuzynsky Canyon.
The young are very resistant to summer heat, winter cold and drought. However, due to its decorative value and unconfirmed medicinal properties, it has become rare.
Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that in the Mykolaiv region in the Buzka estuary two dolphins were spotted, probably a mother and a cub.
As EcoPolitic previously reported, Denis Staji from Kyiv set up a bird feeder with lard on his balcony near the Start stadium, which helped survive a pair of red-billed white-backed woodpeckers and their chicks.
