The region has already begun to look for a site with the infrastructure necessary for a new enterprise

In the Rivne region, the American company World Energy wants to invest in a new enterprise for the production of sustainable motor fuel based on rapeseed, sunflower and fat processing products.

This technology will help reduce greenhouse gas emissions, the Rivne Regional State Administration reports on Facebook.

The company’s representative in Ukraine and the head of the Rivne OVA Vitaly Koval held a meeting where they discussed the project roadmap.

Koval said that in the Rivne region they have already begun to look for a site with the necessary infrastructure to locate new production facilities. The implementation of the project will help:

  • create new jobs;
  • create added value;
  • strengthen the "economic rear".

“It’s nice that international partners sent us a letter of support and believe in our victory, so they want to invest in the Rivne region,” he said.

Earleir, EcoPolitic wrote, Ukrteplo planted 11 hectares of energy willow seedlings on the territory of the Dyadkovitsa rural community. The plantation was developed on lands unsuitable for agriculture.

As EcoPolitic reported earlier, a solar power plant installed on the roof of the Kostopil Glass Products Plant (Rivne region) helped the enterprise reduce emissions by 98 tons of CO2 in just one month.
