The company continued its intention to cut costs to increase sales

The American company Tesla introduced two cheaper versions of its Model S sedan and Model X SUV. The new cars will have a slightly lower range than their predecessors. This is reported by Reuters.

The new "standard range" S and X models start at $78,490 and $88,490, respectively, which is about 10% lower than the previous models. The cars will be available for delivery between September and October 2023.

Thus, the company continued its intention to cut costs in order to increase sales.

The lowest price will be available for electric cars with a "pearl white" exterior and an all-black interior, while other colors will cost more.

As EcoPolitic reported earlier, Ukrainians began to buy more electric cars. Only in July the fleet was replenished with 3,464 electric cars.
