No more than 500 kg of construction waste is accepted per month from one person

In Lviv, large-sized garbage: defective household appliances, old furniture, construction waste should be taken to the reception station for such waste, which is located at 18 Zhovkivska Street, and not left in the open.

This is reported by Zero Waste Lviv on Facebook. It is noted that LKP "Transport firm "Lvivspetskomuntrans" accepts from residents of Lviv and the Lviv territorial community large-sized, oversized and waste household appliances for disposal.

"The project was created in order to reduce the amount of such waste in landfills and in the vicinity of populated areas. The service is paid, but the price for it is rather social," the message says.

Prices:

  • for 1 kg of bulky waste – 0.26925 UAH,
  • for 1 kg of oversized waste (furniture) – 0.52829 UAH,
  • for 1 kg of household appliance waste – 0.29125 UAH.

In a month, one person accepts no more than:

  • 500 kg of construction waste;
  • 5 units of small and 2 units of large household appliances;
  • 1 unit of oversized waste (bed, sofas, large chair).

Please note that the following are not accepted here:

  • automobile tires;
  • fluorescent lamps and other hazardous waste;
  • construction waste with impurities of harmful and flammable materials (containers from paint, varnish, glue, with nails, remnants of metal profile, construction foam);
  • old metal-plastic windows and doors;
  • clothes.

As EcoPolitic reported earlier, batteries, fluorescent lamps, household chemicals, medicines, electrical equipment, etc. can be disposed of in Khmelnytskyi at the "Ekobus" mobile hazardous waste collection point.
