A glass factory was equipped with solar panels in the Rivne region

In the Rivne region, at the Kostopil glass factory, they started building their own solar power plant with a capacity of 2 MW.

This is the first enterprise in Ukraine that uses green energy for the production of glass, reports the "Federation of Employers of Ukraine" on Facebook.

The message emphasized that this will make Ukrainian industry more sustainable and increase its competitiveness on the world market. After all, companies all over the world prefer partners that use "green" energy and are socially and environmentally responsible. Therefore, the company is actively working on the development of a corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy.

It is noted that 10% of the planned capacities have already been connected.

"In such extremely difficult times as the present, it is especially important to remember: each of us must contribute to the path to victory, doing our best where we are. The manufacturing sector is no exception. That is why it is so important to believe in victory and not stop investments," the message emphasized.

The FRU added that the development of green energy is a step towards a sustainable economy, reduction of carbon emissions and energy independence of the country.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that in the Kyiv region, the Yaroslav sewing company installed a solar station at its enterprise in Bohuslav. Its power reaches 270 KW.

Earlier, in an exclusive comment for EcoPolitic, the rector of the Catholic Church in Poznyaki in Kyiv, Mateusz Adamski, said that 98 solar panels with a capacity of 53 kW were installed on the roof of the building.
