In Kyiv region, on Thursday, May 25, near the village of Bziv, in the Brovar district, a fuel truck overturned on the highway, which instantly caught fire. There was a large-scale fire.

A local eco-catastrophe occurred around 12:00 noon on the Kharkiv-Kyiv highway, the Kyiv region Police reports in Telegram.

"While driving, the car lost course stability and went into a ditch, it caught fire. Rescue workers and police officers are working at the scene," the report said.

Law enforcement officials noted that as of 2:30 p.m., the fire is still ongoing.

During the combustion of oil products, a number of dangerous substances are formed, in particular, soot, sulfuric acid, and oil oxidation products.
