Residents of Kharkiv were urged to inform communal workers about spontaneous landfills near the private sector, in areas free from buildings and in green areas of the city.

People can call the hotline or send a letter to the e-mail address of KP "Municipal waste management company", reports the Kharkiv City Council on Telegram.

The message emphasized that some institutions, enterprises and individuals dump waste in prohibited places.

The press service said that you can report the found landfill by calling (063) 823-07-21. You can also send a letter to the e-mail address kp_mkpv@ukr.net specifying:

  • address or geocoordinates;
  • add a photo of the landfill;
  • add information about the polluter, for example, a photo of the car with a license plate.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that in the Kharkiv Region, on the banks of the Uda River, eco-activists discovered a new spontaneous dump of plastic bottles, beverage cans and other garbage. The "Clean Udy" campaign was held on the site several times, but the residents of the village of Babai continue to throw garbage near the river.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, public utilities in Kyiv have launched a Telegram bot, through which you can report about scattered garbage, overflowing or broken containers, as well as about the removal of bulky and other waste.
