The community of the Holosiiv district of Kyiv has announced a "hunt for motorcyclists" in the national park and Rylsky park.
The reward for a photo of the violator's license plate number is 1,000 hryvnias, and for his detention until the arrival of the police and national park guards - 5,000 hryvnias, wrote the administrator of the "Neighbors. Voices" group Alyona Denga on Facebook.
She emphasized that motorcyclists constantly ride in Holosiivskyi Park, in particular on the green zone. Despite the fact that the entry of vehicles is prohibited by nature protection legislation (Regulations on the park-monument of garden and park art named after M. Rylskyi, the Law of Ukraine on the Nature Reserve Fund).
Dienga emphasized that motorcyclists ride on footpaths, which puts park visitors at risk.
"Detention means stopping the motorcyclist until the arrival of the police and security guards of the NPP without the use of physical force," she explained.
The activist noted that violators face a hefty fine of up to UAH 3,500 for every 100 meters of travel on the territory of the national park.
"Saw a motorcyclist in the park – call the police on 102, dial the director of the NPP for the departure of security – 0677364080. And also write to me personally if you took a photo of the license plates or detained the motorcyclist to receive your reward," she explained.
The activist noted that patrons who care can also raise rates.
Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that in Kyiv, the territory of the Holosiiv National Park was increased by 838.1 hectares, that is, from 12.8% to 20.4%. From now on, the area of the protected zone reaches 2,246.33 hectares.
As EcoPolitic previously reported, criminal proceedings were opened in Zakarpattia for violation of water protection rules against the organizers of the Hard Enduro Wild Trails charity race near the village of Velikiy Bychkiv.
