In Ukraine, rescuers from the State Emergency Service extinguished 19 fires in ecosystems in Cherkasy, Zaporizhzhia and Mykolaiv regions in 1 day.

The reason for the destruction of about 20 hectares of territory by fire was careless handling of the fire and arson, the State Emergency Service reports on Facebook.

Rescuers emphasized the need for strict compliance with fire safety rules near forest areas and in open areas. Dry burning causes significant damage to soils and the environment and can threaten people's lives and health.
