People and animals will be warm if Ukraine receives help to protect itself from terrorists

Head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak appealed to Ukrainians to take care of homeless animals.

In his Telegram channel, he emphasized that next to people there are defenseless creatures who also suffer from frost.

"Genocide and ecocide are Russian tactics. They want to freeze Ukrainians, because they think that we can be broken. They will not succeed. But next to us there are more defenseless creatures that depend on people. In frost, dogs die in 17 hours , and cats - for 6. If the animals do not find shelter, for them it is a matter of survival. Each of us can help them survive, simply by letting them into the entrance, to the center of indomitability or home," Yermak explained.

He emphasized that today the Russians are trying to deprive us all of warmth, so the whole world, as well as organizations concerned with the problems and protection of animals, should know that the situation is very serious.

"We need generators, we need support in order to restore light and heat as soon as possible. We need weapons to protect the sky from terrorists. Then both people and animals will have heat. The attention of the whole world should be focused on Ukraine today. We will use different platforms, we will win," emphasized the head of the OP.

In Ukraine, there has been a problem with homeless animals for a long time, and during the war it only got worse: people often abandon their pets and they become homeless. The team of the animal welfare organization UAnimals gave some advice on how to help in such a situation to our four-legged friends.

As EcoPolitic reported earlier, animal rights activists and the chain of stores Auchan Ukraine were able to collect 870 kg of fodder for homeless cats and dogs in 2.5 weeks.
