In the second half of October, residents of Poltava and guests of the city will be able to hand over hazardous waste for disposal and recycling using the services of the ecobus.
It will accept batteries, fluorescent lamps, mercury thermometers and batteries for mobile phones, reports Ekoltava community on Facebook.
"Familiarize yourself with the schedule, find an address that is convenient for you, and give hazardous waste for recycling," urged community eco-activists.
Hazardous waste will be accepted free of charge at the following addresses:
- 17.10. – 14 Soborna street, culture building, village Suprunivka;
- 18.10. – Latysheva Lane, 13, Khutorok store;
- 19.10. – D. Koryaka Street, 3, Market Opt store;
- 20.10. – 62 M. Biryuzova Street, PrivatBank;
- 21.10. – 4 Matrosova Street, EVA store;
- 24.10. – Maidan Nezalezhnosti, 5, City House of Culture;
- 25.10. – Tunelna Street, 27, Sausage Shop store;
- 26.10. – 16 Shchepotyeva Boulevard, Poltava Secondary School No. 16;
- 27.10. – 16 Zinkovetska Street, ATB store;
- 28.10. – 36 Ivan Mazepy Street, KP 4th City Clinical Hospital;
- 31.10. – Shkilna Street, 4, village Slipper
Ecobus will be on duty at stops from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday until October 31.
Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that in Poltava the townspeople were offered to deliver chestnuts at a record high price 5.5 hryvnias per kilogram.
As EcoPolitic previously reported, Poltava offers a reception point for secondary raw materials free service of psychological and emotional rehabilitation, namely, breaking glass bottles with a hammer.
