In Ukraine, violators of environmental protection legislation from September 30 to October 6, 2022, paid claims to the state budget in the amount of almost 1.7 million hryvnias voluntarily and forcibly.
During this period, eco-inspectors calculated 18.1 million hryvnias for violating the requirements of environmental protection legislation, reports State Inspection on Telegram.
They drew up 92 protocols on administrative offenses.
It was noted that the most high-profile violation was found in Zhytomyr region. Thus, soiling of land resources with waste from the stone-working industry in the territory of the Korostyshiv City Council caused losses in the amount of more than 14.5 million hryvnias. The case materials were handed over to the SBU.
In addition, the eco-inspectors of the Carpathian District (Ivano-Frankivsk and Chernivtsi regions) filed a claim against Railway Bakery LLC for the amount of 3 million hryvnias for excessive emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere. The case materials were sent to the national police and the prosecutor's office in the Ivano-Frankivsk region.
