On the territory of the Shatsky National Nature Park (NPP) during the raid, inspectors found a poacher who grossly violated fishing rules.
This was reported by the press service of Shatsky NPP on Facebook.
"Information of the State Service for the Protection of the Shatsky NPP! During the period from September 12 to 18, 2022, inspectors for the protection of the PZF conducted raids and patrols on the territory of the Shatsky NPP, as a result of which a significant amount of illegal fishing gear was removed from the water environment, namely: 10 nets and 9 yaters, and 1 offense was discovered and documented under part 4 of Article 85 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (gross violation of fishing rules)," the message said.
Employees of the Shatsky National Nature Park appealed to visitors and local residents to comply with the requirements of current environmental protection legislation and not to be indifferent to the preservation of natural resources.
As EcoPolitic reported earlier, fish marauders in Khmelnytskyi, Poltava, Kharkiv and Chernihiv regions caused damage in the amount of UAH 1.8 million since the beginning of autumn.
