The landfill must be liquidated by October 3

Near the city of Sumy, along the road, eco-inspectors discovered 12 natural dumps with a height of one and a half meters, which contain large volumes of household, repair, construction and industrial waste.

The area of ​​the unauthorized landfill reached 1,200 m2, reports State Inspection on Telegram.

Violations were discovered during an inspection of the territory with free access on the south-eastern outskirts of the city of Sumy. The landfill is located on the territory of the Bezdrytsk village council, on the side of the highway from Sumikhimprom to the Tokariv sand quarry.

It was noted that the head of this community was given a demand to eliminate unauthorized waste dumps by October 3, 2022.
