"COLLECTORS" | A film about informal waste collectors in Lviv

NGO "Zero Waste Lviv" presents the film "Gatherers". It is based on a survey of real people who inspect garbage bins in Lviv on a daily basis. As the survey shows, informal collectors - people who choose resource-valuable waste from waste bins, can also choose, reanimate, repair, sell or store furniture, household items, appliances, and sometimes works of art for their own consumption. It is in the film "Collectors" that the contribution of these people to reducing the amount of waste in Lviv is shown, there are interesting facts and statistics. Researchers of the organization share conclusions and recommendations that should be taken into account when reforming the waste management system.
