People's deputies will consider the National report on the state of the natural environment in Ukraine in 2021

On Thursday, November 24, a meeting of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Environmental Policy and Nature Management will be held via video conference at 10:30 a.m.

People's deputies will consider in the second reading draft law No. 4187 "Pro making changes to some legislative acts of Ukraine regarding the improvement of legislation in the field of subsoil use". For this document, the eco-committee is defined as the main one.

The committee should submit its proposals to:

  • Draft Law No. 7711 "On amendments to certain legislative acts regarding the features of regulating land relations to ensure fast implementation of investment projects aimed at restoring the economy of Ukraine during martial law and the reconstruction period";
  • Draft Law No. 8119 "On attracting investments in the development of fisheries industry";
  • Draft Law No. 8145 "On amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine on improving state regulation in the areas of ensuring safety and certain quality indicators of food products, veterinary medicine and animal welfare, as well as state control in the specified areas";
  • Draft Law No. 8150 "On amendments to certain laws of Ukraine on improving the requirements of the legislation on food products, feed, veterinary medicine, and animal welfare";
  • Draft Law No. 8051 "On amendments to the law of Ukraine "On state support of agriculture of Ukraine" regarding state support of agricultural producers".

In addition, people's deputies will consider National report on the state of the natural environment in Ukraine in 2021.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that Svitlana Berzina, head of the public council under the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine, said that even under martial law work on the green transition is underway for future recovery.
