In Ukraine, the online store "DrovaYe" was launched, where people can buy firewood online, order delivery and splitting.
On the platform, it will be possible to directly contact forest farms that sell products, the State Forestry Agency reports on Facebook.
"This is an additional platform through which you can familiarize yourself with the assortment offered by forest farms, product prices, find the nearest enterprise, and also purchase firewood online," said Viktor Smal, deputy head of the State Forest Resources Agency for Digital Development.

How to buy firewood online:

"When entering, you will be able to authorize through the bank you use. This is necessary to identify you as a natural person," the message explained.
- choose a supplier, type of firewood and other parameters;
If you specify a specific location, the system will suggest the nearest firewood suppliers. After choosing a forest farm, you can choose the type of firewood and its quantity from the proposed list. In 1 year, every citizen has the opportunity to order 15 m3 of firewood.
- receive order confirmation from the supplier and make payment;
"If there is a need to clarify the details, the supplier will contact you. Then the function of online payment of the order becomes available to you in your personal account," the message said.
The press service of the State Forestry Agency emphasized that not all forest farms have the opportunity to deliver orders. Therefore, the function of delivery through intermediaries is also offered.
- when receiving firewood, you must present documents certifying the identity and identification code of the person who placed the order.
The message warned that due to the excitement on the firewood market, the waiting time for order processing may be long.
"In addition, you can buy firewood directly from a forest farm or forestry. The mobile phones of responsible persons are published on the websites and Facebook pages of regional forestry administrations and state forestry enterprises," the press service noted.
Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that Ukrainians were called to abandon plans to collect firewood independently and brushwood in forests to prepare for the heating season, because such actions are considered illegal.
