In North Carolina, USA, in the city of Raleigh, representatives of the Ukrainian diaspora and Americans organized a rally near the Capitol in support of Ukraine, condemnation of ecocide and nuclear terrorism.
The participants also condemned Russia's crimes against the environment, domestic and wild animals, reports the public organization "Enough to poison Kryvyi Rih" on Facebook.
Anastasiya Borysova-Greer, a representative of the organizers of the rally, the animal protection organization Fine Whines and Lickers, and the Ukrainian diaspora emphasized that this event is especially important for people, animals and the environment of Ukraine.
It is noted that Ukrainian animal defenders from the public organization UAnimals and eco-activists of DTKR were partners of the rally. They actively spread the idea of committing ecocide in Ukraine.
"So much has been said about the genocide in Ukraine, which resulted in terrible human loss and massive destruction. But much less attention has been paid to highlighting the damage done to the natural environment of our beloved country, the deliberate killing and cruelty of domestic and wild animals, and their deaths as a result war," Borysova-Greer noted.
The authors emphasized that the civilized world opposes "obsessed and wild" Russia, their terrorism and ecocide.
Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that the full-scale war in 11 months has damaged the environment of Ukraine losses of more than $46 billion, which Russia will be required to compensate. During this time, environmentalists recorded 2,300 cases of damage to the environment.
As EcoPolitic previously reported, it is black on the Crimean coast in January the sea threw out 14 dead dolphins, contused by the sonars of military surface and submarines of the Russian fleet.
