A hungry animal is more aggressive and can harm people

In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, brown bears woke up from hibernation in the Verkhovynskyi National Nature Park due to an abnormally warm winter.

Traces of the largest mammal of the Carpathians were noticed by the inspectors of the nature protection research department, reports NPP Verkhovynskyi.

The message emphasized that a abnormally warm weather has led to processes that are far from corresponding to the calendar season. Employees of the national park record the flowering and re-blooming not only of the first flowers, but also of typical spring plants.

"Obviously, such weather could not fail to affect the animals," the authors noted.

They emphasized that it is very difficult for bears to find food in winter. In addition, a hungry animal is more aggressive and can harm people.

"If you come across fresh tracks of a bear on a walk through the forest, try to leave as soon as possible," the scientists urged.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that the environmentalists have warned that humanity has a maximum left 50 years to avoid disaster. People are urged to consume wisely, because passive observation of the deterioration of the planet will lead to irreversible environmental changes.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, in the summer of 2022 Europe suffered from the strongest drought in the last 500 years, which led to the drying up of rivers.
