Condominiums and condominiums will be able to take part in the "GreenDIM" program

On May 4, the Supervisory Board of the Energy Efficiency Fund approved a new Greendome Program aimed at stimulating the use of alternative energy sources.

The relevant message was published on the Energy Efficiency Fund's website.

The program will be launched on May 7, 2024. Both condominiums (associations of co-owners of apartment buildings) and housing cooperatives (housing cooperatives) will be able to participate in it.

Under this program, the Energy Efficiency Fund will partially reimburse the cost:

  1. Equipment and materials for installation:
  • heat pumps – heat energy sources – soil, water or air (for heating and hot water supply needs);
  • solar power plants (SES) in accordance with technical requirements.
  1. Certification of the energy efficiency of the house before applying for a grant and after the implementation of the project.

Funding will be provided to Program participants in the form of a grant on a free and non-refundable basis. It will reimburse 70% of the cost of the equipment, audit and certification of the energy efficiency of the house.

Program participants will be able to receive UAH 1 million for the installation of SES, UAH 2 million for the installation of heat pumps, and up to UAH 15,000 for the compensation of costs for the energy efficiency certification services of the building.

In addition, the maximum amount of grants per unit of equipment capacity is established.

Earlier, EcoPolitics told how, thanks to thermal modernization carried out as part of the "Energodim" program, residents of condominiums in the Lviv region saved 9 thousand UAH on heating bills.
