On the first of July, the annual international company Plastic Free July started. So the Zero Waste movement in Ukraine called on everyone who cares to join the action.

How you can take part - it was told on the Facebook page of the public organization Zero Waste Alliance Ukraine.

According to ecoactivists, to participate you need:

  • find alternatives to single-use plastic products and use them;
  • think about what can be used to replace the disposable plastic items that you use every day;
  • choose goods in stores without packaging;
  • also publish a post or make a story about joining the campaign, in particular, put the hashtag (#PlasticFreeJuly, #ЛипеньБезПластику or both).

It should be noted that Plastic free July is an annual international initiative that aims to teach people, businesses and communities to live without plastic due to its harmful effects on the environment.
