The city spent 174,000 hryvnias and 1 million hryvnias of grant funds to install solar panels

In Rivne, a solar power plant was installed on the roof of the city dental polyclinic, which allows to save 200-250 thousand hryvnias per year.

SES provides 30% of dentistry's energy needs, reports ITV media group.

It is noted that the SPP will ensure the uninterrupted operation of dentistry in case of power outages. It will also protect the hospital's expensive equipment, as power outages can damage it.

Viktor Shakyrzyan, secretary of the Rivne Council, said that this is the first facility in the city to be equipped with a solar power plant. Before installing the SPP, the roof of the stomatology was repaired

"While the results of the project are positive – 30% of city funds are saved. Savings reach 200-250 thousand hryvnias per year. I believe that this is the right decision, he said. – It is necessary to implement such a solution in all our communal institutions: educational, cultural."

Shakirzyan explained that the city spent 174,000 hryvnias on the installation of solar panels, and the remaining amount, about 1 million hryvnias, was a grant from the German Embassy.

We remind you that a solar power plant was installed on the roof of the Kostopil glassworks plant, which helped to reduce CO2 emissions by 98 tons in a month of operation.
